Alumni
Thanks for your willingness to help.
Please communicate via the wikispace set up for collaborations at:
http://internationalcontacts.wikispaces.com/
If you are a not yet a member, you may request a membership. I will approve your email, and you will have access to the site, including the downloading of material, etc. Please bear in mind a couple of things:
1. Because the site is open to many participants who have equal access to the pages, it is possible to delete items inadvertantly. Please save important documents elsewhere.
2. Because I wish to minimize this risk, I ask that additions be made only to the page that includes your name.
3. Discussions are a different story altogether and all are welcome to partake, bearing in mind, of course, the use of professional demeanor.
4. Since, to an extent, this is a great networking opportunity, please state name, affiliation, and experience in the field you are discussing.
5. Use professional and formal language, in part because of the demeanor necessary, but also because many members will have English as a Second language and the use of idiomatic expressions, textspeak, etc will not translate well, if at all.
6. Feel free to add contact information outside the site, bearing in mind, that you will be responsible for contact. I strongly suggest starting a linkEd account if you do not have one yet. I caution the use of social media that is more in the personal realm.
7. I also caution the use of photographs, especially if others are involved in the picture. Please do not post without all the persons permission on this site.
8. This wikispace is a collaboration, and as such, please identify the sources where information was received and refrain from making comments that make the wikispace a soapbox.
9. Should you wish to receive credit, in form of a reference letter, for your assistance, I am more than happy to oblige.
Thank you again,
EDM
